I am a licensed professional counselor at The Montfort Group in Plano, TX with my Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist Universityin Dallas, TX, and a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. I received advanced practical training in emotionally focused therapy for couples and families at UTSW and completed a post-graduate externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy  couples with trauma. I am also a contributing author to Case Studies in Couple and Family Therapy.

I am the founder of The Montfort Group in Plano, TX. I completed my Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University where I specialized in working with individuals, couples, and families. I have extensive experience working within the mental health community facilitating groups, conducting assessments, counseling individuals, and performing crisis intervention. I hold an active License in Professional Counseling and am also a board-approved Counselor Supervisor for the state of Texas.
